We act: Service of psicosocial and labour Intervention of the Women with Disabilities:

 
Has as a main aim improve the situation of social exclusion of the woman with disability, that the women take part of the public space, are autonomous and have an active labour life, all propiciant new attitudes, so much of the own woman and of the services of attention, to the labour world and to the society in general.

We have taken part to one hundred five women with disabled. This intervention has consisted in the preparation of an estimation of the situation of exclusion in the familiar fields, domestic, of the motherhood, formative, professional, sexual, public image, degree of economic management, capacity of selfsteem and speech, social participation and access to the prisoner of decisions, accessibility, mobility, time of leisure, degree of violence, degree of attention to the own body, social politics and social representation and prejudices. They have elaborated ninety four living projects or flat of intervention personalized jointly with the users of the service, with his compliance and commitment, where feature the actions and objective that have wanted attain. This intervention also includes the proportion of technical and human helps have achieved that disabled woman have been able to employ the public space how any one other citizen, as much as has sat them possible and fine where have been able to arrive (go out, study, work, conciliate the domestic and familiar life, use the public transport, etc.).

 
Besides, in the Service, the Association offers courses of Gender and Disabled, English, Catalan, Computer and Theatre.

Impulse Project for the labour integration:

Since it does already a pair of years, our Association takes part in this project of the Department of Work of the Generality of Catalonia. With the aim of reintegrate women with disabilities in the work’s world, we realise courses of Catalan, computer, English, skills at work and technical for the research of work. Once finished the courses, or in the meantime, if possible, the user , jointly with the personnel, contacts with the companies to realise a stay of practical. In finish, and after a personal route, tries insert to the user in the same company. The past year achieved to insert to four of thirteen students.

International network: The true European Convention the women with disabled:

From the International Days: The true European Convention of the women with disabilities of Barcelona 2006, we constituted the Network of women with disabled of 18 countries of different Europe with the aim to drive the active paper of the women with disabled in the society, his equality of opportunities in this and achieve the measures of protection and promotion of the rights of these all over of Europe, as well as the strategies and necessary instruments to achieve it all insisting in the need to enter the prospect of gender in the definition of the European economic politics and world-wide.

 Aims of the Network:

The aims of this year have been:

-  Rebuild the existent prejudices in the population woman and disabled population, investing in the emergency of positive values, just and shared in common that they preserve the general unrest that causes to all the presence of the disabled women in the public fields.

- Conquer the right to decide and occupy the public space, political and economic of the women with disabilities.

- Drive measures of positive discrimination and promotion of the rights of the women with disabilities in Europe

- Carry out a task of diffusion to all the society on the International Network, which are our aims and due performances.

- Do take part to the women with disabilities to the public field because they achieve to build a culture where disabled woman was so much valued for her contribution to the world and as a woman. That go producing the equality of opportunities and the Human Rights are respected for everybody.

- Drive the active paper of disabled women in the society and the measures of protection and promotion of the rights of the women with disabilities in Europe, as well as the strategies and necessary instruments to achieve it, and, however, insist in the need to enter the prospect of gender in the definition of the European economic politics and world-wide.

Project to prevent the Violence against Women with Disability:

It frames in the program of the Social Work Foundation “La Caixa”, “Violence, tolerance 0”, how a pilot project of state field directed to the collective of people with physical and organic disabilities. This project will be applied through the Confederation of Women with Disabled in Spanish State and the Confederation COCEMFE. In Catalonia, will be carried out by the Non Standard Women Assotiation, who has been the main motor of the project.
